Bennet’s Iran deal secrets exposed
Secret documents leak exposing shadowy side deals, Iran to “retaliate” with opening up nuclear sites
DENVER—This week The Associated Press reported on a secret document connected to the controversial Iran nuclear deal that lifts key restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program four years before the deal expires putting Iran within six months of nuclear capability. According to The Washington Times, the document says that after a period between 11 to 13 years, Iran can replace its 5,060 inefficient centrifuges with up to 3,500 advanced machines.
The Obama administration hid from members of Congress the secret agreement permitting Iran to continue maintaining critical aspects of its nuclear program, according to Rep. Peter Roskam, R-Ill., who first told the Washington Free Beacon these disclosures “invalidate the entirety of last summer’s nuclear agreement with Iran.”
A senior congressional source who works on foreign policy issues told the Washington Free Beacon that the most recent documents are “a smoking gun showing that the administration lied to lawmakers.”
Top Iranian leaders this week instructed the leading state sponsor of terror’s atomic energy organization to prepare opening multiple nuclear sites, flying in the face of the Iran deal. This latest aggression came in response to a United Nations report that criticized Iran’s post-deal string of defiant ballistic missile tests as violating international agreements. Iran’s leaders castigated these reports as “biased” and the leader of Iran’s parliament, Ali Larijani, said, “Iran has no other option but to retaliate.”
Advancing Colorado Executive Director Jonathan Lockwood released the following statement:
“We must ask the question, did Bennet knowingly lie to us about the dangerous Iran deal, or did he defend and support a deal he didn’t even understand?
“We do not know the extent to which the administration has hidden more unsettling information about the Iran deal, and we may find out too late for it to matter. We do know though, that Bennet attended secret, closed-door meetings at the White House during the debate over the passage of the Iran deal.
“Iran’s latest aggression threatens all of our lives and proves the Iran deal was nothing more than a blank check to the largest state sponsor of terror. It was irresponsible at best and set the stage for an ever-dangerous Iran open about their intent to annihilate Israel and the United States with constant chanting ‘Death to America’ and ‘Israel will be wiped out,’ while burning our flags. We should be burning the Iran deal and put an end to this chaos.”
